Very nice pub restaurant. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is hot and tasty. Usually easy to get a table as it's normally quiet but you can book a table online. I like the free refills on coffee. Great value. Also 5 meals. Would recommend.

Came from London to Bristol to visit family and friends and came across this restaurant. The staff are brilliant and serve delicious food. I stayed in the attached hotel for 2 weeks and always came to dine in this restaurant, I felt at ease and the staff made my stay delightful. I will miss everyone when I go back.
Had an excellent medium rare sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. Great cut, with no gristle. Better than you would find in some high end places, and only 15
Visited on the evening of Saturday 31st May cannot speak more highly of Lisa her bar service, understanding and sense of humour made my visit extra special. I also want to compliment the individual(s) in the kitchen our food was perfectly cooked with steaks as they should have been. Thanks very much Lisa and team and see you soon. Josh
I ordered the fish and chips. The meal was fantastic – the fish was perfectly crispy. What made the experience even better was the friendly and attentive service. The waiter was not only efficient but also very cute, which added a lovely touch to my dining experience. Definitely a place I’ll be visiting again in the future! ---
We had a cracking few meals here including breakfast and dinner and we were impressed every time. Great value for some delicious food, can't fault it whatsoever. Shout out to Joe for being a great laugh and incredibly welcoming and to all the breakfast staff, very professional and friendly!
Visited Lewins Mead for birthday tea. Great central location and easy access from Eye Hospital. Service was brilliant from the team on duty. Helped up with ordering and how to get the best from our Bluelight discount. Food portions were really good - the haddock was like a whale! All well cooked, my steak was cooked to perfection. We will definitely return.
